Employed with General Motors Corporation as an automotive industry expert with more than 30 years in global automotive production, Kevin has proven ability to lead strategy development and implementation through global teams. Experience includes major manufacturing responsibility with corporate long-term strategy and financial responsibility for P&L.
He directed activities related to the fundamental and technical commodities markets including supply chain management responsible for global price risk as the Chairman of General Motors Global Risk Management Team. Kevin has extensive base metals experience in buying, selling and trading commodities such as base and ferrous metals, global aluminum sheet, master alloys, secondary cast alloys and all grades of scrap. He founded and managed the GM Global Scrap and Rare Earth Metals Teams with direct report in North America, Europe, South America and Asia.
Most recent GM assignments included:
- GM commercial leadership on a corporate strategy team completing a global study on all aluminum vehicles.
- Directed global procurement of all automotive fluids including aftersales.
- Material expert and leader of GM’s Rare Earth Elements Global Team responsible for REE supply strategy including mine and supply chain development for use in Hybrid and Electric vehicles.
Today he is consulting while participating in global conferences and seminars.
He holds Marketing and Management BBA degrees from Kent State University and an MBA from Eastern Illinois University.
