Jean-François Julien
Associate architect
Cardin Ramirez Julien

Jean-François Julien, LEED certified principal, contributes to the firm’s leading team by bringing his own vision of architecture and design. His approach aims at creating viable sustainable design strategies where natural lighting, bioclimatology, and energy efficiency and renewability are but a few of the many tools, techniques and concepts he masters. During his studies in architecture at Université Laval, from which he graduated in 1996, Jean-François Julien studied abroad in Turkey and throughout Europe. He was later awarded the Alpha Rho Chi Fraternity bronze medal. More recently, he designed what was to become the winning proposal of the international architecture competition for Montreal’s new Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium.
